Bikespace recycling
Bikespace is committed to promoting the use of Sustainable Transport within the community.
One of our core activities is recycling old bikes and giving them a new lease of life, ready to be sold on into the community as an affordable, healthy means of transport.
We offer a wide range of recycled bikes for sale, including mountain, hybrids, road, ladies and kids bikes. Our fully serviced adult bikes start at around £50 and our kids bikes are generally around £30.
Below are a few examples of bikes that have previously been available to buy. Please note, these bikes now have new homes - we are constantly getting different bikes in and so the best way to find out what is available is to pop in to our workshop.
All of our recycled bikes are donated to us, and used as learning aids for our students to work on. These bikes are then passed on to our qualified mechanics to be fully safety checked, with any worn parts replaced. We do not buy or part exchange bikes, and so have confidence that all of or bikes for sale have a sound history.
Bikespace welcomes donated bicycles in any condition. When you donate a bicycle you can be happy it will not only go on to provide someone with transport but that it will have helped young people gain skills to help them in the future.
