Our Impact

We take great pride in the work that we do at Bikespace and we are inspired by the young people who walk through our door.  We are very fortunate to have built a great community through a shared love of bikes.
This page has been created to showcase our work and celebrate the difference we make to people's and communities lives.

Our 2024 / 2025 Impact Report

Following the incredible momentum of 2023, Bikespace has reached a significant milestone, celebrating 15 years of providing "Momentum for the People" in Plymouth.

Over the past year, we have empowered 35 young people through AQA-accredited mechanical training and supported 32 individuals through our life-changing "Trail Therapy" program. From recycling 192 bicycles to welcoming over 250 participants to our new volunteer-led community workshops, we continue to ensure that sustainable, healthy transport is accessible to everyone in our city.

2023 was another incredible year of activity.  We had new projects and supported so many people in a number of different ways.
The biggest and most rewarding challenge for us has been the city wide introduction of Plymouth’s shared eBike scheme with Bikespace responsible for maintaining and managing the fleet of 510 eBikes.
